VL Design Privacy Policy

In this Privacy Policy,  VL Design Australia shall hereby be referred to as Contractor, (the “Contractor”),  while clients who will be engaging with the contractor and utilise the services shall be deemed as the client, (the “Client”). 

This policy outlines the steps that VL Design Australia follows in all their work and legal proceedings to make sure that their client’s privacy is kept. 

By engaging the contractor’s services, the client agrees to the terms of this policy

  1. Information Collection
    The Contractor may collect the following types of personal information from the Client:
    a. Contact Information: The Client’s name, email address, postal address, and phone number.
    b. Project Information: Details about the Client’s project needs, preferences, and goals.
    c. Financial Information: Payment information necessary for processing transactions.
    d. Communications: Records of communications with the Client, including emails, messages, and phone calls.
    e. Usage Information: Information on how the Client interacts with the Contractor’s services, including IP addresses, browser type, and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.


  2. Use of Information
    The Contractor uses the Client’s personal information for the following purposes:
    a. Service Delivery: To provide, manage, and improve the services offered to the Client.
    b. Communication: To communicate with the Client about project updates, inquiries, feedback, and other relevant information.
    c. Billing and Payments: To process transactions, manage billing, and ensure financial records are accurate.
    d. Compliance: To comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Contractor’s rights and interests.
    e. Marketing: To send promotional materials and updates about services, with the Client’s consent where required by law.


  3. Information Sharing
    The Contractor does not sell the Client’s personal information. The Contractor may share the Client’s information with:
    a. Service Providers: Third-party service providers who assist in delivering the Contractor’s services, such as payment processors, IT service providers, and subcontractors. These providers are contractually obligated to protect the confidentiality and security of the Client’s information.
    b. Legal Obligations: Government authorities or other entities if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Contractor or others.


  4. Data Security
    The Contractor implements reasonable security measures to protect the Client’s personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. However, the Contractor acknowledges that no method of internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free.


  5. Client’s Rights
    The Client has the following rights regarding their personal information:
    a. Access: The Client can request access to the personal information the Contractor holds about them.
    b. Correction: The Client can request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
    c. Deletion: The Client can request the deletion of their personal information, subject to certain exceptions required for legal or operational purposes.
    d. Opt-Out: The Client can opt out of receiving marketing communications from the Contractor at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in such communications or by contacting the Contractor directly.


  6. Retention of Information
    The Contractor retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. The specific retention period depends on the type of information and the purposes for which it was collected.


  7. Changes to This Policy
    The Contractor may update this Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated to the Client through appropriate channels, such as posting the updated Policy on the Contractor’s website or through direct communication. The Client’s continued use of the Contractor’s services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
